Due to ever increasing number of people attending Jummah (Friday) prayer at NIMFA, it has been decided during the last AGM that there will be two Friday prayers conducted from April 2012 Insha’Allah. The timings are as follows

First Jamma’a
Khutbah: 12.50 pm
Prayer: 1.15pm

Second Jamma’a
Khutbah: 1.30pm
Prayer: 1.55pm

Arrangements have been made for English language classes at NIMFA commencing on 28nd September for 15 weeks. This will be taught by a qualified BMC instructor. In addition to the certificate, a small (capped) amount will be paid to each attendee to cover their travelling costs for attending all the sessions.

The applicants are required to be resident in the UK for at least 3 years and must have a National Insurance number.

Please note that in the first week (28/09/2011), there will be a one hour Introductory session from 11-12 in the morning. Full sessions to follow in the following week.

A talk by Dr Mamoun Mobyed (Psychiatrist by profession) has been organised on the subject of Adolescence. In particular, Dr Mobayed will talk about an anonymous letter sent to him by a Father of a young girl approaching teen age. There will be open discussion about various points raised by the Father in the letter and how best to address them by parents. This event is highly recommended for parents with young children.
